BONANOMI, SALAQUARDA AND VERVISH: BEST AUDI LINEUP. POINTS SCORED ALSO AT PAUL RICARD
21/06/2015 - The race at Paul Ricard, third round of the Blancpain Endurance Series 2015 held partially overnight on Sunday evening, saw team I.S.R. racing getting once again in the top ten and scoring further points in their debut season.

After posting the second best time among Audis in qualifying (1:57.455), Marco Bonanomi, Filip Salaquarda and Frédéric Vervisch (Audi R8 LMS ultra n.75) completed the six hours long race in ninth absolute time, first among the drivers of the Four Rings. The lineup of the number 74 car, could not undertake sporting scrutineering instead and therefore could not take part in the event.

Igor Salaquarda (I.S.R. racing, team principal):
"Finishing the race into the points was very important to us. We are one of the four teams that have always scored points in all the races of the Blancpain Endurance Series Pro Cup Teams standing and results consistency is one of our priorities. The ninth position cannot fully satisfy us though, but we have been the best among Audies and this track did not suit the R8 LMS ultra at best. Unfortunately, we could not count on the number 74 car as a series of circumstances out of our control prevented us from lining it up. Now we will head to Spa, where we will run some tests ahead of the 24 hours, the most challenging round in our sporting programme".

The Blancpain Endurance Series will resume in Belgium next 26 July with the 24 Hours of Spa.
